I am usually very pleased and willing to publish my Spotify Wrapped. The Front Bottoms, BROCKHAMPTON, King Princess, and FLETCHER are names that frequent my Top Artists. I’m not ashamed to admit that Party In The USA is my all time most played song. But in true 2020 fashion, things got a little weird.
Before there are claims saying otherwise based on my Wrapped - I need to state that I am in a happy and loving long term relationship. But Olivia Rodrigo releasing Sour and Taylor Swift’s discography simply EXISTING have put me in a musical chokehold. I did ask for him to break up with me so I could enjoy All Too Well (Taylor’s Version) (10 Minute Version) and he respectfully declined my proposal. However, I pretended I didn’t hear him and I screamed those lyrics. I screamed them so much that Taylor became my #5 artist. He also used to drive a white Dodge RAM so Olivia’s “I still see your face in the white cars” is half the reason I played the track on loop. driver license was my #1 of the year ; there‘s more catchy lyrics to the constant playing but I promise it’s not my #1 for real relatability. I would’ve had Phoebe Bridges in my top if that was the case.
I may have an embarrassing 2021 Wrapped but at least I can say for 100% certain that Drake will NEVER be on my account and that helps me sleep at night. And yes, I mean while I fall asleep to Tear Drops On My Guitar and folklore.
